WHO WE ARE

Ekklésia Reed Quintet is a chamber music ensemble of five instrumentalists who are members of the award-winning and professional wind ensemble Cleveland Winds: Scott Little (oboe), Willow DiGiacomo (clarinet), Travis Hogue-Smith (bass clarinet), Thomas Lempner (saxophone), and Philip Kish (bassoon).

Though strongly influenced by classical traditions, ERQ is open to the influence of world music, jazz, and improvisation.

In addition to becoming the first professional reed quintet in Ohio, ERQ also aims to inspire younger wind players through educational outreach and to encourage the commissioning of new works for reed quintet by composers from Northeast Ohio.
